This project saw the strip out of level 3 and level 5 of the chemical engineering department and complete refurbishment. All works were completed whilst the building remained live.

The strip out works included the removal of the old mezzanine and the installation of a new larger mezzanine. All mechanical and electrical services were renewed along with ceilings, wall coverings and secondary glazing.

The original 1960’s parque flooring whilst extremely stained and damged was restored where possible.

The project was halted when the college closed down over lockdown. All construction leadership guidelines were followed to formulate rigorous procedural guideline and were able to reopen and complete the project with excellent results.
