Summary

Level 3 of the Blackett Building is used for first year students. Our work involved the refurbishment and remodelling of the labs. This included removal and replacement of the 1960’s ventilation system and extensive electrical works. The parque floor was protected during the works and fully restored to its orginal condition.

The labs have state of the art AV equipment including multiple large screens. The student benching is movable, making the space extremely flexible.

It was vital to complete the project to programme in order that the labs was ready for the students to return for the 2021 autumn term.
